Burnley defender Kieran Trippier is all set to become the major attraction at a fund-raising campaign. The Burnley star is all set to leave the football boots for now and step into the cricket boots, according to the Man City news website. He will be taking part in a fund-raising campaign that will provide significant funds to the Breast Cancer UK trust.
Padiham will be providing all the entertainment for the annual ladies day, while it will also provide a fundraising campaign to the Breast Cancer UK. Kieran Trippier will be the star attraction at the show, but he will not be playing as the left back – or in fact any kind of football.
Padiham CC Select XI will be taking on Breast Cancer UK Select XI. This T20 match will be taking place at the Arbories. The match is scheduled to start at 2 PM. The admission rates are extremely cheap because it takes only five pounds to get the tickets for the event. All the proceeds from the gate receipts will be going to the Breast Cancer UK. Even though Kieran Trippier will be the major attraction, he is certainly not the only attraction because there will be the likes of Darren Foy, Ian Austin, and Lancashire star Jordan Clarke.
“All money raised from ticket sales, raffles and auctions will be donated to Breast Cancer UK and we are hoping to raise more than £1,000. And it’s not just for the girls. Everyone is invited, it promises to be a great day,” said the spokesman for the event ahead of the event itself. Singer Gavin Young will be entertaining the guests from 4 PM onwards. The event is scheduled to go late into the night and it is expected to be great fun, while also serving as a major fundraising campaign.
